Parks and museums

Riga,the capital of Latvia, and larges city in the Baltic States.
Riga is a very beautiful town,where are a lot of historical and culturally-educating places which i love to visit the most. For example,in my home town there are plenty of parks - pieces of nature in a crowded place,full of technologies and no sign of forests or lakes. I enjoy the atmosphere that reigns in parks. My most adored park is Vermundes park because of the scene that is located in the center of the park. A lot of concerts and performances take place there.


To understand the grand beauty of thus you have to go there. No photos or stories can't give you the real picture of it.

My another beloved park is located near the National Opera, and it's called the central park. On the territory of the park there is a small hillock,about 15 meters high,you can to go the top of it,sit and relax,drink a cola on a hot summers day. Walking around in this wonderful place gives me a really great mood. The magic beauty of small artificial waterfalls charms me,i can gaze at them for a long time. Also it can be fun to feed the birds.

Talking about educating places, i would mention our best museums. One of them is porcelain museum. It's rather small,but worth for visiting. You can see there statues,made from porcelain. You may buy them as souvenirs. The second-best museum for me is the medical museum. It is full of disgusting but interesting thing to see, like parts of bodies,germs and other.
